Engineering energy
from what others
see as waste.

TOKEF develops gasification, waste-to-energy and advanced industrial energy systems — from feasibility and process design through implementation and operation.

Engineering complex energy systems from concept to operation

Engineer-led

Engineering complex energy systems from concept to operation.

Since 2017, TOKEF has worked where others hesitate: residues, waste streams and biomass that carry more risk than reward for conventional engineering — and more energy than their owners realize.

We are engineers first. Our recommendations are vendor-neutral, grounded in laboratory fuel data and process modelling, and carried from feasibility through FEED, procurement, construction and commissioning by the same technical team.

The result is not a report on a shelf. It is a plant that runs, an emissions file that closes, and an operator team trained to own the asset after we leave.

02Capabilities

Six practices. One continuous engineering chain.

From fuel characterization to plant optimization — each practice reinforces the next, so decisions made early survive contact with reality.

03Flagship technology

Turning complex feedstocks into usable energy.

Gasification converts biomass, residues and refuse-derived fuels into clean syngas — a versatile energy carrier for power, heat, hydrogen and fuels. The technology is demanding; that is precisely where we are strongest.

05How we engage

From feasibility to operation — one accountable chain.

The same engineers who validate the fuel remain accountable through commissioning. Knowledge does not change hands mid-project — and neither does responsibility.

01

Strategy

Objectives, feedstock reality and regulatory context framed into a viable project definition.

02

Feasibility

Technical and financial validation — fuel analysis, technology screening, economics and risk.

03

Engineering

FEED, basic and detail design: process, heat & mass balance, P&IDs and specifications.

04

Procurement / EPC

Vendor-neutral tendering, contract strategy and EPC negotiation on the owner's side.

05

Construction

Site supervision, QC and execution control against schedule, budget and specification.

06

Commissioning

Structured start-up, performance testing and acceptance against guaranteed figures.

07

Optimization & Support

Operator training, process optimization and long-term technical partnership.

06Technical credibility

Engineered to standards. Verified by data.

Our methodology combines computational modelling, laboratory measurement and disciplined compliance engineering — so performance guarantees rest on evidence, not optimism.

Quality policy

Every engineering deliverable passes internal technical review before it reaches a client. Every figure we publish traces back to a measurement, a calculation or a standard — and when something cannot yet be verified, we say so.

07Laboratory

Decisions backed by material data.

Every thermal project we advise on starts in the laboratory. Fuel characterization converts assumptions into measured values — the difference between a design that works and one that only looks right on paper.

08Digital & automation

Digital intelligence for industrial systems.

We apply AI and automation the way engineers should: where they measurably improve availability, efficiency and safety — not where they decorate a slide deck.

Automation & control

Automated control systems engineered for thermal processes.

Predictive analysis

Machine learning on plant data, ahead of failures not after.

Simulation

CFD and process models that de-risk design decisions.

Data center optimization

AI-driven energy reduction for digital infrastructure.

09Sustainability

Circular by engineering, not by slogan.

Decarbonization is not a brochure. It is mass and energy balances that keep residues out of landfill and fossil carbon out of the atmosphere — verified, monitored and engineered into the process.

Waste valorisation

Residue streams converted into energy products with defined value.

Decarbonization

Fossil displacement measured in tonnes, documented per project.

Resource efficiency

Energy recovery engineered to capture what single-purpose plants lose.

Energy resilience

Local fuels, local energy — infrastructure that holds under volatility.

10The company

Independent since 2017. Accountable on every project.

TOKEF Energia was founded in 2017 to develop efficient, environmentally responsible projects with a high technological profile. We hold no technology shareholdings and sell no equipment — our only product is sound engineering judgment.

That independence is not modesty. It is why our feasibility conclusions can be trusted by investors, lenders and boards.
